1-5 Development Environment Renesas boasts its consistent and complete development environment as shown in the development of the SuperH. We are offering a real-time OS including ITRON with development support. We provide evaluation boards and CASE tools in cooperation with our partner vendors. We offer the High-performance Embedded Workshop (HEW) for an integrated development environment, which dominates the development environment at Renesas. C/C++ compilers with navigation functions operating on HEW, advanced CASE tools and emulator interfaces are also available. Emulators support fully standard E8000 and J-TAG E10A . WindowsCE and Linux in addition to ITRON and OSEK specification OSes are available. We also offer all types of middleware that operate on the OSes. We offer reference boards and all types of evaluation boards that allow users to shorten the startup of development.
